The Brentwood-Palisades Chorale

The Brentwood Palisades Chorale was founded by the late Frances Cain in 1963. The Chorale is sponsored by the Palisades Symphony and has appeared with the symphony in over 40 oratorio and opera performances. The Chorale has also appeared with the Brentwood Symphony, the Beach Cities Symphony, and the City of Los Angeles Combined Choruses at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Occasional performances in hospitals, nursing homes, and shopping malls are also part of the Chorale's schedule. Interested singers are invited to attend rehearsals which are held Monday evenings during the school year at Brentwood Magnet School.

Susan S. Rosenstein, director of the Brentwood Palisades Chorale, is the organist and choir director at University Synagogue in Los Angeles. She received her Master's Degree in organ performance from UCLA in 1983 where she served as teaching associate, leading the University Chorus in rehearsals and performances. In addition to numerous organ and choral performances, Ms. Rosenstein also teaches piano.
