brentwood palisades chorale

Susan S. Rosenstein, Director

Founded in 1963 by Frances Cain, the Brentwood Palisades Chorale has been a vital part of Los Angeles’s community music scene for over six decades. Since 1987, it has been directed by Susan S. Rosenstein, whose warm leadership and dedication have guided generations of singers in performances that uplift and inspire.

The Chorale performs twice each season in collaboration with the Palisades Symphony, presenting oratorios, masses, and other large-scale choral works—from Handel and Verdi to contemporary composers. To date, it has appeared with the Symphony in more than sixty joint concerts, continuing a tradition of inclusive, volunteer-based music-making that welcomes singers of all backgrounds and skill levels.

Rehearsals are typically held Tuesday evenings, September through May, and new members are always welcome. For information about joining, please contact Director Susan Rosenstein at brentwoodpalisadeschorale@gmail.com.
